CIMAMOTOR 2026: A RECORD-BREAKING EDITION OF PASSION, BUSINESS AND INNOVATION

The 24th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition recorded more than 300,000 visits, bringing together 1,120 exhibitors, 3,100 vehicle models and the global motorcycle community in Chongqing.

The 24th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMotor 2026) concluded on September 22 at the Chongqing International Expo Center. Held from September 19 to 22, CIMAMotor recorded more than 300,000 visits, including 52,000 visits by trade professionals and 6,516 visits by international visitors from nearly 100 countries and regions.

CIMAMotor 2026 attracted 860 media outlets and 2,058 journalists. As of 10:00 a.m. on September 22, topics related to the exhibition had generated 7.065 billion views across Chinese online platforms.

As China's only national-level professional motorcycle exhibition, CIMAMotor is jointly organized by the China Chamber of International Commerce Chongqing Chamber of Commerce, Chongqing Exhibition Center Co., Ltd., and the China Chamber of Commerce for Motorcycle. CIMAMotor is held under the guidance of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Chongqing Committee and the Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission, with strong support from the Chongqing Municipal Government.


INDUSTRY INSIGHTS AT THE 2026 CHINA MOTORCYCLE CHONGQING FORUM


Held on September 19 under the theme “Beyond Boundaries”, the 2026 China Motorcycle Chongqing Forum brought together government representatives, industry leaders and experts to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the motorcycle industry.

Discussions highlighted a shift in the basis of competition, with technology, brands, supply chains, services and international operating capabilities becoming increasingly important.

For Chinese motorcycle companies, internationalization is moving beyond product exports toward building a more integrated and sustainable presence in overseas markets, covering products, brands, distribution and after-sales services.

1,120 EXHIBITORS AND 3,100 VEHICLE MODELS


CIMAMotor 2026 covered 190,000 m2 and brought together 1,120 exhibitors from China and abroad. More than 100 global motorcycle and electric vehicle brands showcased 3,100 vehicle models through static displays and dynamic demonstrations.

More than 50 motorcycle brands participated, including Honda, Zonsen, Cyclone, VOGE, BENDA, KAYO, ZXMOTO, Shineray, Harley-Davidson, X-WEDGE, Keeway, TEYIN, Moto Morini, LETBE, CFMOTO, QJMOTOR, and SOUO.

The electric two-wheeler sector featured more than 50 brands, including TAILG, CINECO, NAXEON, SURRON, FRANCO Morini, Apollo Scooter, CAOFEN, Arctic Leopard, Black Knight, 79BIKE, X-BIRD, Rerode, LVJU, and ZHMAI.

Leading component suppliers included Brembo, Schaeffler, HELIOS, Yu'an, and ASTEMO, alongside electric vehicle component manufacturers Ampace, PHYLION, Jinyuxing, QS MOTOR, and Lingbo. Around 200 riding-gear brands, including DAINESE, SHOEI, Alpinestars, HJC, and FASEED, also presented their latest products.

For the first time, CIMAMotor introduced a dedicated General Machinery section, featuring Zonsen General Power Machine Co., Ltd, Loncin General Power Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Dajiang Power Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd.



56 NEW PRODUCTS AND 67 NEW TECHNOLOGIES


Product launches and technology showcases remained a major part of the exhibition.

A total of 56 new products were presented across the motorcycle, riding-gear and component sectors. Motorcycle brands unveiled 24 new products, while the riding-gear sector introduced 20. A further 12 new products came from component and technology companies.

The exhibition also showcased 67 new technologies, covering intelligent connectivity, AI interaction, intelligent suspension systems, steering, transmission and powertrain technologies. Among them were 41 cutting-edge technologies, six technologies protected by national patents and 20 technologies addressing gaps in the domestic market.



CONNECTING GLOBAL BUYERS WITH CHINESE SUPPLIERS


The GLOBAL MOTORCYCLE SUPPLY CHAIN & TRADE MATCHMAKING connected international buyers with Chinese suppliers, facilitating sourcing and business cooperation across the motorcycle industry.

A total of 133 purchasing needs were released, and 495 matchmaking meetings were held. Purchasing needs covered complete motorcycles, electric two-wheelers, motorcycle components, electric vehicle components, smart motorcycle equipment, riding apparel and gear.

Working with domestic e-commerce platforms Tmall and JD.com, the exhibition generated more than RMB 600 million in transactions across the two-wheeler industry.

CIMA HONOR MANUFACTURING LIVE hosted more than 20 brand livestreams over three days, showcasing products and technologies from Chinese manufacturers to global audiences.




60+ INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES AND 2,000+ MOTORCYCLE CLUBS 


CIMAMotor 2026 featured 60+ interactive activities and welcomed 2,000+ motorcycle clubs from China and abroad.

Highlights included the CIMAMotor Carnival Night, the CIMAMotor Customizing Championship featuring 65 motorcycles, and the CIMAMotor Favorite Motorcycle Models Selection, which received 500,000+ votes and selected nine favorite models.

The CIMA Town and riding activities, including the Moto-Party Fun Zone, the Slow Race, Gymkhana, C-Turn Show, and the International Stunt Championship, brought motorcycle culture to life.

The CIMA Knight Selection selected six CIMA Knights and three Female Knights, while the CIMAMotor Charity Campaign for Girls' Education supported 40 girls.

The Riding Gathering brought 200 riders on a city tour. The CIMA Heat Map connected 337 local businesses and 2,000+ stores, distributing 10 million+ discount coupons.

The Labor Knights Festival & Awards selected six Labor Knights from more than 100 candidates.
